Today, the weather wasn't it's usual blue skies.  Instead, we had low clouds and some blowing snow- I think real snow from right here versus snow just blown in from somewhere else.  Because of all the ice crystals, you get cool things like halos around the sun.  No sundogs or arcs at this point though.  The thing blocking the sun is sun tracking radiometer directly measuring shortwave radiation from the sun that follows the movement of the sun through the day.
