Sometimes, kitchen duty is taken over by other workers here- this particular day, cargo decided to take over and make dinner for the station. Tonight, it was Thai food- the first Thai food I've had since I got here and it was excellent. They also decided to make desert- on the left was some type of coconut cake and on the right were these really dangerous chocolate peanut butter balls- peanut butter, butter, and sugar wrapped up in chocolate. I bet with a supply of these anyone could make it across the polar plateau to the ocean, about 1,000 miles away!
