This is the interior of one of the vehicles we use to get around- a Pisten Bully. It's a tracked vehicle used to haul people or cargo when you need to have it inside something (unlike a snow machine with a sled) and a lot of fun to drive, that is when they work! These vehicles are probably the most prone to breakdown on station for whatever reason- they seem to be broken down more than any of the D-7 bulldozers or anything else. Hopefully though, before the end of the season and they shut these down due to the cold (they don't like extreme cold apparently) I'll get checked out on one of these so I can drive them too- I think the technician at ARO should know how to do these things, right?
So anyway, the driver is Bride (a super cool girl who works in materials- a bit hard to tell through the goggles) and the right is Jason, the NOAA Corps guy who works with me at ARO. The Pisten Bully's name is The Wrench, and Bride is very affectionate of her vehicles.
