Today was a big day for some people- time to leave! This is a group of people who are finished with their jobs for the season and are heading first to McMurdo, then on the Christrchurch and places beyond. Actually, we've been having people leave for the past couple weeks, but this is the first group that means something to me because some of these people I flew in with on my flight to New Zealand to Aukland, so they were some of my very first friends that I made here.
But this still doesn't change my mind about being excited about being here the next eight months!
