Just another gusty day at ARO- actually, it's not too bad. It's only -30C and the snow isn't too bad, except if you wander away from the flags or buildings too far and you can't see them- things might get pretty dicey then. It's pretty hard to see even the new station from ARO, about 1/4 mile distant so you know the snow is starting to get thick. This week we'll be putting in flags marking the walk from the station to ARO as well as the AASTO telescope nearby. It's not so critical now, but once it gets dark and you get some blowing snow, it might be good to have some visible markers to follow to work!
