One of the many things I do during the week- collecting snow for a project at University of Arizona. There's a picture from earlier this season and here's a little different perspective. This is the back of ARO in the clean air sector. In the back, you can also see the Dome and the elevated station. Most of the time, clean air is upwind of everything from the station, making it the ideal place to do long term environmental monitoring because there isn't anything else in this direction for several hundred miles, making this one of the cleanest places in the world you can be.
