The cold does funny things here- ice doesn't melt here. Instead, it sublimates and recrystallizes in strange ways depending on the temperature of the day. Or the snow sticks to things like it has a charge to it and makes things all fluffy and fuzzy like our solar tracking radiometer on the roof.
