This picture might be a little dark, but you should be able to make out the very unique celestial occurrence here- yes, these are aurora. I didn't expose for long enough and they were gone before I could defrost my camera for another round, so you'll just have to wait for some better ones later- I'm just getting started with these. The railing is from around the top of ARO and you might be able to barely see the 20 meter sampling tower towards the center of the picture in the distance. There's also still a little bit of light from the horizon still, so there's still a little bit of time before it's completely dark and I'll get to try out some really long exposures- this was only 30 seconds and I could only get a few before things start really freezing up at -60C.
