These are a few of the fuel tanks containing JP-8 fuel for the power plant as well as all the heating requirements for the station in the "fuel-arch"- I think there's 15 of these total, but I have no idea how much they contain, but it's a lot! I've been told that they have enough fuel here to sustain the station an extra year without resupply if necessary. This is also something that I walk through on occasion when going out to ARO- by going through the fuel-arch (this is also completely underground, I can cut my travel above-ground in half. Sometimes I feel like staying under on certain days.
But we're always told to conserve power and heat anyway while we're here!
