The ARO Infrared Spectometer

This instrument is upstairs in our LIDAR room.  It was installed last summer (2003) and is something that Dana takes care of every morning.  His typical visit is to check liquid nitrogen levels, clean the outside mirror, make some notes on the instrument and check the data.

       Filling up with liquid N2.

        Transferring to the instrument.

        A couple screen shots.

Clearing the mirror outside with compressed nitrogen (lot of snow out there).

Checking data and making log entries.
