The MAPO Observatory houses the DASI and VIPER telescopes, as well as the equipment for AMANDA. During the winter, the techs for DASI and VIPER went out here daily and were pretty much the only people out here. The summer is busy though with lots of other people repairing and calibrating for the next winter.
